What is naturopathic nutritional therapy?

Naturopathic nutrition seeks to find the root cause of your particular illness or complaint. It doesn’t just look at isolated symptoms but treats the whole person instead. This means it looks at the influence of psychological and emotional factors as well as genetic and environmental ones. It also sees all the systems of the body as being interrelated.

A variety of tools are used to investigate what is really happening when a person presents with particular symptoms such as headaches, IBS or anxiety. We dig deep through in depth consultation. We then take a holistic approach to supporting you to come back to a greater state of balance. This may involve lifestyle advice, nutritional recommendations and sometimes supplements.

What to expect?

An initial consultation lasts 90 minutes and will look in depth at your personal history and the systems of your body including how you feed yourself. Together we come up with a personalised plan to suit your particular constitution, history and the demands of your lifestyle. You will then come for at least one follow up lasting 60 minutes.
Depending on your particular case you may find it supportive to have a series of follow ups with me. There are a few different wellness plans.
