About Me

I completed my study of Holistic Massage and Anatomy & Physiology in London in 2006 and have since gone on to do short courses in aromatherapy, body pulsing, deep tissue massage, abdominal chi massage and myofascial release work. I practise massage in different locations around Bristol.

I see touch as a wonderful and powerful way of helping another person to connect more deeply to their bodies, to ground in their physical selves and release holding in the body that may come from mental or emotional stresses. I work intuitively and sensitively seeking to meet you and support you fully.

What is Holistic Massage?

Based on well respected Swedish principles, holistic massage helps to re-balance the whole body, rather than simply isolated aches and pains.

The body becomes relaxed through the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system which helps the body to unwind and the mind to switch off, encouraging deep rest.

Techniques may include joint rotations, stretching, rocking, deep pressure and acupressure points.

What is Deep Tissue Massage?

Deep tissue massage uses elbows and thumbs and other techniques including  deeper pressure to get into muscles that are particularly tense.
