What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu literally means ‘finger pressure’. It is a Japanese healing art that uses the map of the energy body taken from Chinese medicine. Through sensitive and intuitive touch the energy in the different meridians is accessed with the aim of helping to restore the flow of Ki (life force) and in this way bring about balance, relaxation, and greater wellbeing.
